Administrative interface menu

.

At any time and with one click you can access SUPRAMANAGER help.

SUPRAMANAGER enables you to manage several different language versions.
It is thus possible for example to run your site in French, as well as in English, Italian or Polish.

Each language version is independent, so if you wish to modify the menu or the pages of whichever version you must first access the required version.

If you only run one version, then you never need make use of this facility.

First of all, you must begin designing your web site by creating a menu.

The menu is situated horizontally and may have two levels.
The first level indicates the names of the main headings.

The second level contains the drop-down listings which appear when a heading is selected. To define this level, a page name should be selected or indeed a title and a link to give access to the desired page.
The bottom of the page (footer) may also be regarded as a menu and you can manage it by accessing this heading.

You can create, modify and delete your web pages.
To do this, you have a visual tool which allows you to create a page easily.
You must also define the name, description, keywords and date of last update for each page on your site – to avoid having pages on your site which are unduly out of date.
Finally, you must also define (unless you select a default header) the page header image. This image must be selected from the existing headers (see next section). When you modify a page (see foot of modification page), you can also add links to other internal or external pages and you can also grant download access to files which you would like to distribute via your own web site.
Principal functions :
- Definition of META markers for each page
- Definition of header image for each page
- Definition of date of next update for the page (warning)
- Access source code, design of tables, chips, alignment, formatting, text, fonts, dimensions, bold text, italics, underlining, blocking, colours, insertion of images and flashes, special characters, anchors, hypertext links, copy/paste, insertion from word, undo, search on the page...
- Addition of internal and external links associated to the page (special display zone on the page).
- Addition of internal documents available to download from the page (special document download zone).
- Installation of pages on home page (up to 3 blocks of text)

SUPRAMANAGER can manage several types of images.

You can import your own logo, which will appear at the top of the page. This logo image can be longer and also contain your web site slogan.
You can import headers to provide visual dressing for each one of your pages (large image or large animated flash at the top) to make it even more lively and to give a personal identity to your professional web site.
You can select a default header which will appear in the event of non-definition on a page, just to avoid any problems resulting from oversights.

You can import any type of file (eg: pdf, word...) into your site.
Once the file has been imported, you can make it available to download by automatically adding this file to the documentation zone on the web page of your choice.
If you go to the bottom of the modification window of the page in question, you will easily be able to access the facility for adding this kind of link. (Window for modifying a page, not creating a new one).
This documentation zone only appears on the page for which such access to a downloading link has been defined.
This heading also enables you to delete files which are no longer required.

It is important to keep your customers up to date with your company’s evolution.

In the first place, the newsletter system allows you to prepare a newsletter, then to send it from this interface to those who are interested in receiving it.
Visitors to your site are thus able to subscribe to or unsubscribe from your newsletter, directly on the pages of your site, as long as you have chosen to activate this facility in the newsletter management zone.
The newsletter may be sent directly from the site back office. In addition to sending out newsletters, it is also possible to modify and delete them.
The management of the e-mail list (csv import, csv export, deletion of members,) is also part of the SUPRAMANAGER service.

It is also possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter from the pages of the site.

Your site’s home page contains a news zone.

You are also able to define news items for the home page of each different language version.
This enables you to show your visitors that you are keen to maintain an up to date site for their benefit.
Thus the creation, editing and modification of news items on the home page of the site forms part of the SUPRAMANAGER service.

Please note, however, that you must first activate the NEWS module (see General Configuration).

If you wish to add advertising buttons to your site, you can do so easily and you will know how many times each button has been clicked. A web site which is well referenced on search engines and has an interesting content will naturally attract visitors.
Generation of the HTML (static) version of your site will enable you to offer the search engines a more legible version which is thus more easily indexed than the dynamic PHP version.
The generation of the HTML code is undertaken for all language versions of the site.
A new static HTML version should be generated each time the site undergoes a major update.
It is possible to choose whether the first page read by visitors who gain access to the home page will be a dynamic page (index.php) or a static page.

You can make direct contact from your interface or by e-mail with visitors who complete the contact form or choose not to complete it but instead leave their
e-mail address or telephone number.

Functions:
- Management of forms which have been correctly filled in by users
- Management of incomplete contact requests (only telephone number or e-mail address supplied)
- E-mails to prospective customers may be sent directly from the site
- Automatic transmission of forms by e-mail

Your web site content is stored on a data base.
For greater security, you can implement a back-up on this data base, eg. to enable it to be used to display an older version on-line (if the later version contains too many mistakes for example).

The back-up file should be stored on your local work station (or CD-ROM).

Functions:
- Import and export of the site data base (all tables or selected tables)
- Restoration of data base from a back-up file
